Wait till the thing u want comes out in stores.
Contact the bank that issued the card. They may have a procedure for activation.
Visa Gift cards are ment to be used as cash.

it says that online and me too i bought a card and it wont freaking work! i called the number and i cant even talk to someone its just a freaking machine
I know for FACT that you need to know exactly how much is on the card and if it’s even 10 cents over it will become Declined.
Either the money was never installed or your card needs to be activated. There should be instructions for the latter case. If after activation (usually 24 hours), it is still declined, then the money was never installed in which case, as embarrassing as it is for your friend, you need to give it back so they can take it back to the place from which it came.
i have the same problem… piece of shit card… i want my cash back and the activation charge back….
